OnePlus 8T Epic Camara Views
OnePlus 8T, the successor to the OnePlus 7T, has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 42,999. Is it worth your money?

One Plus is all set to launch a new OnePlus 8 series smartphone on October 14. Earlier, they had launched the mid-range smartphone OnePlus Nord in India in July. The company has teased the new OnePlus Nord’s special edition with a Sandstone Black finish on the smartphone. It seems the new OnePlus 8T will have sandstone covers. The pricing of the 8T is expected to be slated at Rs.50,000. It is also expected to have a 6.55-inch touchscreen display with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
OxygenOS 11 also brings a refined Dark Mode that now uses readjusted colour tones along with distinctive layers to make content easier to read. The Dark Mode can be accessed and toggled from Quick Settings, as always.
Another exciting feature added to OxygenOS 11 is the share options in the Camera app which appears when you long press on the clicked image. There's Voice Note feature which can now convert speech to text while you record a voice memo.
OnePlus 8T Review: Cameras are mixed big
If talking about a few differences between the new OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8, then the camera department has that one big change. The quad-camera setup on the 8T comes with an ultra-wide-angle 16-megapixel Sony IMX481 sensor with f/2.2 aperture alongside the primary 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.75 aperture for better low-light results. Then there's the 5-megapixel macro sensor and the 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. The phone comes with dual-LED flash.
We wish that we could replace the monochrome sensor with a telephoto lens on the 8T. As the monochrome sensor is here to help the main camera capture more details and textures in black and white photos which isn't something that everyone does. But anyways.
